"This hotel is like a Victorian house. The rooms are rather small but we only need it for sleeping since we are out all day long. Expedia stated that the room which has 2 twin beds sleeps 3. Thinking that the beds can be combined, I booked it. Evidently the hotel does not move and combine their beds. But, Staff went above and beyond in giving us extra room for the night, then transferred us in a triple room the next day. They even took care of loading our luggages to the room while we were out on a trip. Hotel is also close to Hammersmith train station, about 10 mins walk. Overall, our stay was excellent and would recommend this hotel."

"The staff were excellent - at all levels. Initial welcome was friendly and efficient and housekeeping was first class. Rooms lovelyu and clean. Only issue we had was that the first room was full of "characterful" eaves but also angles and low ceilings which would have been fantastic for smaller guests but for a 6ft 2 big lad with only one eye was asking for trouble which I then duly got! Took a really bad fall on a slippy carpet when twisting and turning/manoeuvring around the angles. Reception were however once again brilliant and changed us to a more standard shaped room with a walk-in shower which was ideal - although bed and room itself were smaller, it suited us much better. They also fitted in with our movements and meant that we could leave it until returning to the hotel in the evening before having to do the switch. Overall a fantastic stay with amazingly helpful staff. Would have no hesitation in staying here again/recommending to a friend. "
