The hotel I am told is about to close to undergo major refurbishment, which would not be a bad thing as it is looking a little tired now in some areas. "The Chesterfield Mayfair is our preferred hotel to stay at when we are in London. It's located in the Mayfair district which is less touristy than other areas of London. But it's within walking distance of the Green Park tube station. You can easily get to Regent Street and Piccadilly Square within minutes.
