"Coming from Kansas, it's a nice sight to be in the mountains. I also had a very long trailer of course. They were very kind about helping me out and parking it to not be too in their way. Staff in general was overall very nice and polite. The showers are one of the most beautiful and genuinely relaxing things I have ever experienced. The last simple thing I ever thought I would receive peace from way over delivered. Especially after driving 12 hours. I had the rest of my 32 hour journey to go, but that one shower genuinely made my whole trip so much better. It was basically a massive floor of polished rocks and sheets of rock on the wall, but it was just so peaceful for once. I would love to put one in my house when I build one finally. The beds were extremely nice and comfortable. While the rooms were small, it was very pleasant. The scenery out back was very very nice as well and refreshing. This lodge really earns the name of lodge. I wish every state had a similar lodge, but I guess it wouldn't be unique then. The food was also pretty good. Highly recommended. I never felt so willing to write a review about a hotel or place to sleep for the night, if that tells you how amazing this place was. If I ever end up back in California, I will absolutely be making a diversion to end back up at this lodge. "
