"My family and I loved this place!! Omg I can say with so many places we have stayed at this place by far has beat all the other locations in everything! From the communication to knowing we had kids they out did everything to my family. They gave us so much attention and help in any questions we had. "The property itself was small but charming, the rooms/suites were large and the backyard was spacious as well with a private pool (a bit chilly as there is not much sun in the back). The room rates were very reasonable for what we got. That being said there was no housekeeping (we stayed for 5 days) and it got quite sandy and messy as there was no broom for us to use. We also did not get any spare towels and so we had to do our own laundry (one out of 2 washers worked, no dryer) and it was quite...

"Our concierge was very helpful for our stay. Photos on platform are little deceiving, our unity was just ok with some kitchen appliances stuffed in the adjacent room. Not big deal since we were there only for sleeping. There are some details to improve like having toiletries (shampoo and soap) and getting ride of that weird smell."

When we 1st came to the property there was no line no wait but when we got to the room the sheets were okay the bathroom was dirty and the toilet seat was broken falling apart (it did when we left) also. There was just dust everywhere. the door of our room DID NOT WORK they actually had to change the battery or lock on our door to fix the key. That made me feel unsafe. "This was a perfect stay for us. The condo was the perfect size and it was nice to have all the amenities of both a hotel cleaning/water service and the full kitchen of a home. We rented a golf cart to get around which was so fun and everything was so close. The balcony and hammock overlooking the whole bay was breathtaking. "We spent so much time down the street that we didn’t get to fully enjoy the amenities here as we mostly only slept. I would not hesitate to book again in the future. It was exceptionally clean. Deisi does the cleaning and is very sweet. Miguel is so kind and helpful. The patio for this condo is huge and shaded with a view of the pool. There are chairs on the beach to use. Take swim shoes as the beach is rocky but the view is spectacular!"

"A lot of new development has occurred in the past couple years. This place is conveniently located in a neighborhood with a few cafes and stores to get goods for a longer stay or a bite to eat close to home. A short drive to the beaches. The condo itself is wonderful. Only bad thing to say is the hot water went out during the second to last day of our stay and couldn’t get fixed before we left, which was a disappointment. Hopefully that was a one time issue."

"Good place to stay. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because it was cloudy water during our stay and we didn’t want to risk getting sick. Place has everything except a pan for cooking tortillas. Had no choice but to cook tortillas inside a pot. Please note that all shower doors should be opened inward toward shower and not swing outward toward sink."

"We came with our adult children and their spouses. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable and had plenty of space. Location was close to the beautiful Paridiso beach and great restaurants. Lana was a wonderful host that has thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying in this condo. "

"The property is nice but you will need some type of transportation to get around with ease. The internet service is not stable. There is construction during the week around the area. The streets are not paved. I like the property for the quietness and rooftop pools available. You have a great view of the coastline from the rooftops. Great place to see the sunrise and sunsets. "

"This was our second trip to this resort. We enjoyed the easy access from one area to the next, and especially enjoyed the long walks on the beach. We loved the area around the infinity pool at Akumal. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did an excellent of tidying and restocking every day. The entertainment was enjoyable. we are already planing our next trip!"

"Our junior sweet in building 4 was spacious, modern, and comfortable. All balconies have impressive ocean views and jacuzzi tubs. The entire property is very scenic and well-maintained. There are plentiful drinking/dining options and the food and drinks rarely disappointed. We went for the holidays and the Christmas dinner was a true feast. Lots of activities are available at the resort and the surrounding area. The beach has tons of space, although beach chairs could be tricky to find if you get there after 10AM. The staff and service were the defining highlight for us. Everyone was incredibly attentive and friendly. We really appreciated the relative quiet and serenity of Akumal in comparison to Cancun and even Tulum. We would strongly recommend Akumal Bay to anyone looking for an amazing vacation. "
