"It was in a great location. We stayed inside a jungle in a cabin like room. However they need to improve the services and amenities inside the room. It has lack of lighting, one fan at the corner is not sufficient, no paper towel, bin inside the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner other than the body wash. The bed was stinky, not enough hangers. Overall the amenities need to be improved a lot based on the rent they are charging."

"We made a booking far in advance. Upon arrival they appeared to have double booked their hotelrooms so even though we already paid for everything we had to spend the whole day looking for another place to stay. The alternative they offered was a hotel in the city center far away from the beach and nothing like the experience we were looking for. Luckily we found some other places to stay but we had to book 2 different hotels because it was busy everywhere. The guy behind the desk wasn't very...

Comfort Double or Twin Room, 2 Twin Beds, Private Bathroom | Free WiFi

"This is an apartment not a hotel. The room is tastefully decorated and has a decent bathroom. The building entrance is on an unpaved alley that is not well lit in the evening. There were mouse or rat droppings outside the door, though no evidence of them in the room. It is located on a busy highway, with large trucks that can cause the windows to rattle. This is about 15 minute walk from where the nice restaurants in Tulum are located and about a 30 minute bike ride to the beach area."

"Perfect place to stay for the night before visiting the Coba ruins, cenotes, or on your way to Chicin Itza. Owner host is very friendly and accommodating. Property is clean and quiet, and everything worked great. As a side note, pool was under maintenance when we stayed, so may be worth checking to see if it is up and running if you plan on using it (we weren't going to use it so did not affect our stay). "

"Didnt get to stay got there no one was at the reception place is nothing to do with a hotel has a bad aspect dosnt look in good conditions and the location no good a person that stays there saw me looking for someone and he toldme that the person in charge left and be back probably next day and that this is all the time so i am very disapoint but in a way haply because i didnt like that place at all "

"This hotel beat my expectations. Such a cute, simple and clean beachfront property. Staff was extremely accommodating and answered any questions for us. Besides being directly on the beach, it is very close to many good bars and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will book again if I am back in Tulum. "

"It was amazing I loved the service and my family had such a comfortable stay we loved the food the drinks everything. The only thing is that they do not have a hot tub. The small pool is just a jetted pool it doesn’t heat up. One of the main reasons I booked it but wasn’t a big deal in the end. "

"We loved our stay at Otonomus Tulum. The aparthotel is new and modern and tastefully decorated. We had our own private lounge pool, which was perfect to hop in for morning stretching or just to cool off. The main pool was awesome. We had it to ourselves most days/night. It's long and great for laps but also has a shalow end perfect for sitting around. They offer free bikes, and scooters and atv rentals...although we choose to walk...its 15min to the beach zone, which was perfect for us. The...

"I liked that the layout and style of the buildings. Only 3 stories high made it feel more secluded and not like a big resort complex. Also, the architecture looks more traditional to the area than some of those big resort complexes. Being on the beach was a plus in addition to the 2 pools. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. "

Perfect Location & Beautiful Stay – A Tulum Gem

"My stay at NAALA Hotel in Tulum was fantastic! The hotel is in a perfect location, making it super easy to walk everywhere—whether to nearby restaurants, shops, or attractions. The room itself was beautiful, modern, and comfortable, with a lovely touch of greenery on the deck that added both charm and privacy. One small downside was seeing guests hang their wet clothes on the railings, which took away from the otherwise stylish and clean aesthetic of the hotel. Other than that, everything was excellent. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in Tulum, I highly recommend NAALA Hotel!"
