"Definitely a historical site if you want to relive that good 'ol Colonialist past. Staff are great and while you might not have all the modern amenities, you will enjoy the best sitting areas I've seen. Alexander Graham Bell would be proud of the post industrial collection of phones at this location. It really is something you want to experience. For giggles; the hallways will remind you of scenes from "The Shining". No kidding ... it was fun!"

This is a wonderful spot at this price, includes resort-like atmosphere by the pool, with a very nice full American breakfast included: sausage, eggs, real potatoes, it’s the little things! Room very clean and quiet, and free limo service which we will try next time. Get a room away from the street like we did and you’ll be happy this place. Also, has a pool table and adjacent restaurant. "

"The town is charming. The house is great example of Queen Anne Victorian with an amazing story. The Inn Keeper was friendly, took time out to make us feel welcome and the meal she cooked for us was flawless! We plan to return."
