"We loved the hotel. The lady at the front desk let us check in early and recommended a couple of restaurants for lunch. The room was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyrd the fireplace and jetted tub. Everything was very clean. For breakfast they offered omelettes and waffles made to order along with the typical cereal, yougurt, muffins and croissants. We will definitely return when in the area. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. "

"Lockbox for late check in pass 10pm. Good for our 1 night stop during a rainy/snowy trip. Great location, snow outside windows. Parking could be limited when at peak season, and when you arrive late like we do."

"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."
