"The inn is conveniently located a few hundred feet off highway 80. Despite this proximity, it is very quite. We had no traffic noise in the room (#310). Accommodations are basic / rustic. The room is not updated and a little rundown, but it is clean and provides the necessities for a short stay. The inn istself is very basic as well, but in good working condition. There is a bar / brewery and a little convenince store a few steps away. Breakfast is very basic and we skipped it in favor of local diners. The staff is friendly and efficient. We stayed 2 nights and the room was not turned over. Not sure why. Not a big deal for our needs though. Overall a convenient stay and less expensive than other spots, especially on ski break week."

"Good choice, close to freeway "

"My family of 5 booked this condo over the winter so that we had easy access to ski Sugarbowl. It's about a 10-15 min easy drive away from Sugarbowl. It's located in a Donnor Lake condo complex. The unit itself was very clean, beautiful views (lakeside!). There's a porch that overlooks the water - nice to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The unit is located on a second floor with no elevator. It has a washer/dryer in unit. Size was good for our family of 5.Kitchen could use a few more pots/pans and spices/seasonings. Overall, enough pots/pans but I don't cook extensively when we stay at VRBOs. We routinely go to Tahoe for weekend trips so I usually bring our food already cooked.There is no central heat - head is provided by radiators (in each room) and wood stove. This provided adequate heat, we were just confused at first. Check in process was smooth, owner communication was good. Property was clean and well maintained. When we stayed, there were no other reviews for the property, so not sure if it's a new listing. We had some issues at first due to extra person charge (25 per person if the group is 4 people). The owner also reached out to us about 1-2 weeks before our stay requesting an additional damage deposit. I don't mind the extra charges or damage deposit but wish it had been stated clearly at the time of booking. Hopefully this process will improve. "

"If you are planning a Tahoe Trip with friends or family this is the ideal location for a large group. It is by far the best rental property I have ever rented in the Tahoe Truckee area. I strongly recommend. The amenities are unbelievable and the space is simply the best."

"1. We arrived at 4:30pm. The lock box was broken and frozen. The #6 key was broken off and inoperable. We needed #6 as part of the code. Maintenance showed up at 5:30, confirmed that lock box was broken and very out of date. The pad to the garage door did work, but we still needed a key because the door from the garage to the home was locked. Maintenance agent did not have a key with him. Agent returned to maintenance, came back with a key. After 2 hours, we finally were able to move in. A truly wretched experience. You must install a modern lock box that is not broken and can operate in snowy weather below freezing.2. Once in, we noticed a smoke alarm was chirping due to low battery. Agent did not stay around to make sure property was ok. As property managers, do you change smoke alarm batteries at least once/year? With some difficulty, we identified the chirping smoke alarm 30 feet in the air at the roof line. We found a 30 foot extension ladder in garage, brought it up two flights of stairs and down one flight. Our next challenge was to find a 9 volt battery, which we did and the chirping stopped. Inconveniently, we left the ladder in place in case of another failure. I give property management a grade of F, and the property itself is excellent."

"Has everything. Just lots of stairs. Needs getting used to. But has its own advantages for that. Great for different age group gatherings. Great host. Very communicative. "

"Brought the family, including our dog, for a fun weekend away. Cabin is in an awesome location. I was a little worried about the noise from the road in front, but you can't hear it inside the house. Beautiful views across the lake. Convenient parking just behind the house for 1 car. Pretty clean. Really enjoyed our time."

"We rented the property for a 4 night stay and it was everything we wanted it to be. It kept all the adults and the kids entertained with its amenities. There was enough space for everyone. The views were the best! Would definitely book again in the future. "
