"Very well located and comfortable hotel with perfect views of Edinburgh Castle from the hotel restaurant and many rooms. Staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. They definitely went out of their way to ensure it was an enjoyable stay. Room was pretty spacious and beds were comfortable. "The housekeeping staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to help us with our bags at stairs. Maybe we didn't know how to request it but in a week's time, despite having our please tidy the room sign up, we never got fresh towels and our bathroom hand soap was never filled. I think they just took out garbages and made beds. We didn't even get clean sheets because I'd had a tiny chocolate smudge I made on a sheet and it was still there after they tidied up and made the beds. "
