"Fantastic place in a picture perfect setting! "

"Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. We made good use of the wood fired hot tub, the outdoor fire and even the barrel grill. Our contact with the property manager was...

"Ideal for our purposes, meeting grandchildren and their parents, playing games and feeding them. Very comfortable again!"

"Its difficult to recommend the property, as it was quite worn in many places, but offered moderate value for money overall. The cleaning of the property needs improvement, as we had to clean rancid milk from the fridge on arrival, which was pretty unreasonable as a starting point, and bathrooms and ither areas were worn and not particulalrly clean. The towels provided were worn, the bathrooms and fitting were old and somewhat dilapidated in areas. Radiators in some areas of the house didnt...

"A wonderful place to spend time and as a base for exploring Stirling and beyond. Communication with the host superb and everything as described. Great experience and my two children loved that it was remote and that there was such an array of animals on the farm. Also easy to get to the local town to eat/shop. "

"We chose this property because it was perfectly located for hiking along the John O’Groats Trail and accessing the ferries to Orkney. The house was spotless and spacious. It had an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and a bath which we didn’t even use. The kitchen had everything we needed; loved the washer and dryer. The host was super accessible- not that we needed her. "

"This is comfort camping, with great facilities in a communal area specific for those using yurts or huts, everything for cooking, reading, games etc. The toilet /shower room is located at the main house; toilet facilities are not next/ensuite to the accommodation. Good written information pack. You are generally off-grid with no phone signal; there is WiFi but not fast. "The stay overall was great, however, ad shows 4 king size beds which was ideal for us as 4 couples. On arrival discovered 2 rooms are now set up as twins do advert out of date.Property well set up with great facilities and contents. Property was over warm on arrival and took.hours to cool to reasonable temperature. "
