"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It’s conveniently located to the Royal Mile, Grassmarket and New Town. Our room was cleaned each day. The bar was nice. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Staff was always pleasant."

"Great stay at this hotel. The location can’t be beat with the Edinburgh Castle right outside the windows in the front of the building, and the Grassmarket right outside. The hotel staff were lovely and answered all our questions. The room was comfortable and we very much appreciated the fan as there was no air conditioning (probably not normally needed but it was a very sunny day when we were there and the room got a bit toasty!) "

"This property was just extra special, planning to come back to Scotland in 2027 and this will be where we book. The property is a little confusing but that is part of the charm. Everyone that we encountered was beyond friendly and helpful and just wonderful. We stayed in the room that has the little bed nook along with the king bedroom and was PERFECT for our family. The room was so spacious and the beds were beyond comfortable! The kitchenette was so nice although we only used for coffee. Lastly the restaurant was incredible and the food and coffees were perfect. We even went back on our last day for lunch even though we had already checked out because it was good. "

"The location of this hotel was perfect! Right on the Royal Mile and convenient for walking to wonderful restaurants and shops. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and patient. The rooms were beautiful and had fantastic views, staff cleaned regularly and perfectly. This is my favorite hotel to stay in and I will be going back!"
