We ate in the Bistro and the food was nice and service pleasant - it did seem a little short of experienced staff though. When we discovered there was an issue with my daughter's food (we eventually realised she'd been given pasta with arrabiata sauce rather than plain tomato and that was why she couldn't eat it) I told the guy clearing...

"Interior design of the hotel is superb - clearly a lot of thought (and money) invested in the revamp. The only let down was the shambolic bar service -35 minutes waiting for a drink order to appear. The spa is amazing (although the staff on the desk could smile a bit more). The outdoor/indoor thermal pool is sensational"

"Had a great stay and the room was great with an amazing bed. Shower was great and bathrobes and slippers always a nice touch. Pool was okay, Very disappointed that it was an extra £70 for my wife and I to use the thermal pool. With the cost of the room I'd expect it to be free or at least cheaper than £70 per couple. "
