He shared many tips of things to see in the area during our short stay and following his tips helped give us a fondness for this town and area of Scotland. We hope to stay there again sometime soon. "We had a lovely stay here! The owner is very kind & let us keep our rental car parked on the property after we checked out so we did not have to find street parking. It’s easy to walk to the city and very clean and cozy! Would stay here again. "

Room smelled a little old/strange each time we walked in - likely the radiator - but we got used to it once we settled in. We enjoyed the big window with big, thick curtains in our room - lots of privacy and sunlight. We suggest bringing your own pillow. Overall, you get what you pay for. We wanted a cheap room "

"My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. One thing to mention to the owners is that two of our blinds wouldn’t stay down and kept rolling up, so the...

"Alban & Abbey House was perfect for our one night stay. Check in was simple at their other guest house just at the end of the street and across the road. It is within walking distance of the town centre with plenty of parking at the property. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Had everything we needed 🙂"
