"The interior courtyard is lovely, quiet, lots of shady spaces to relax, while still being close to the historic Centro. We had stayed in a conference hotel for a few days prior, and the change of pace to calm and privacy was very welcome, especially as they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was also tasty, and appreciated small touches, like a basket of sunscreen and buy spray. Some of the possible options associated with the Casa del Maya seemed a bit too new age / woo for my taste, but...

"This place was convenient. We stayed 2 nights and that was just enough. Nothing bad. We felt safe, but the place needs some care and upgrades. It is def a fixer upper. The reception was lacking, and the person working there was not helpful. This is just a motel, that is clean enough to stay close to Chichen. It serves a purpose at a low price. It was a nice pool and across the street from a cenote. The restaurant was not good - and Half of the items on the menu were not available. Based on...

"Very pretty pool and courtyard and pleasant, sunny breakfast area. Convenient to airport and quick taxis available as needed. The "deluxe" rooms toward the back looked much nicer than the older style room we had but it was fine for one night. I think the little Mayan ruin toward the back might even be real! Interesting and friendly place. "
