"For the low price, the room was very nice. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker were well used. The immediate area seems safe but doesn't look great. However, within a short walk, is the central area of Merida, with attractive mansions and conveniences, like Starbucks and a large Walmart with a large grocery area. The hotel itself offers little by way of sound insulation, either from the interior halls or the surrounding neighbourhood. Ear plugs or some sort of white noise could help. Overall, the hotel is a very good value, and the other guests were quiet and polite."

"Great location right on the malecón. Clean hotel. Only real complaint was the toilet seat was too small for the toilet. Handle for shower door was missing. Entry door jam could be more secure. I would stay there again despite those issues. Good valué & friendly service! "
