"The interior courtyard is lovely, quiet, lots of shady spaces to relax, while still being close to the historic Centro. We had stayed in a conference hotel for a few days prior, and the change of pace to calm and privacy was very welcome, especially as they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was also tasty, and appreciated small touches, like a basket of sunscreen and buy spray. Some of the possible options associated with the Casa del Maya seemed a bit too new age / woo for my taste, but...

"I stayed 15 days and enjoyed myself immensely. Very clean and well maintained. Quiet, other than the traffic on Paseo de Montejo, but you can open the windows to get fresh air. Much calmer than the Centro which is still an easy walk away and the Paseo is the place to stroll! Lots of nearby attractions. Used the rooftop loungers to get some sun in privacy, and a quick dip. A special thanks to Alba and Melanie for letting me practice my Spanish. Hasta la proxima! ...
