"Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! The location was also great, which a short walk over the river into the centre of York and the hotel was a perfect get away from the busy streets after a day walking around. "You cannot question the location of this hotel, its amazing and the staff are lovely however, beyond the lobby its very dated and it shows in the rooms - ironing board was a little worsefor wear and the bathroom had a smell to it -such a shame "
