"There’s not a ton of options to stay within the park, but I am so glad we stayed at The Ranch. It is well kept and an affordable hotel. The grounds were very well maintained. There were a lot of eatery options. We ate at The Saloon and the food was very good. Our room was clean and spacious. There are multiple gift shops. The general store has everything. Their selection of Death Valley merch was better than the national park gift shop. There is a recreation court and pool heated by a hot spring. Unfortunately we didn’t try any of these fun activities because we only stayed one night. The location is perfect and close to all the sights and sees. The staff is extremely friendly and provide exceptional service. I definitely will stay here again and recommend The Ranch to those visiting Death Valley NP. "

"This place looks rundown from the outside but is truely lovely on the inside. It's an enormous house with lots of nice fluffy towels and good beds. It's fairly isolated but less then 10 minutes to drive to a supermarket, so it's nice and quiet"
