I judge the hotel by how thoughtful and helpful the concierge is, and here, they could use some training. The food in the lobby restaurant was also 7/10. "

"Shangri-la Tokyo Hotel is very comfortable, well appointed, high service level hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our trip as we feel very welcome. The location being just above Tokyo Station is an added attribute. We are able to take day trips to prefectures outside of Tokyo via the Shinkansen and get back to rest in a comfortable hotel. It’s a great feeling to have that as an option."

"The room size is acceptable considering that it is a room in Tokyo with a reasonable price Location is around 8-10 mins to the JR and metro station , many dining options nearby and can walk to Tokyo station and Ginza in 10 mins "

"About 12- 13 mins away from Akibahara area. The rooms were very spacious and nice though the only downside was my sister found a yellow spot on one of the towels placed in our room and hadnt noticed till after she started using it. It isn't really close to the center of Tokyo but we walked a lot so we didn't mind. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating for us. "
