"This was not just a stay, this was a memory. Incredible customer service in every aspect of our time spent there while celebrating our six-year old’s birthday in Chicago. So much character within the hotel itself that we could not help but feel we had entered another period of time. Perfect location for exploring the city too. And the pool area was just marvelous. We will definitely be back!"

"Nice hotel in nice area . We were on 5th floor and it seemed like the noise outside echoed into the room. We heard cars conversations etc… which carried on throughout the evening. Loved that it had a pool, many hotels in the Downtown area don’t have this. Staff were really nice especially Penar who catered the event I attended. Very professional, kind and outstanding service. "

"Nice property, helpful staff. Roo. Was freezing (50s), they sent a tech up, I let him in to fix. He identified issue, said he wanted to get into the adjoining room too ensure complete functionality and would check my room later. Went to my conference, came back 8 hours later, still freezing Called front desk. They said they would send a tech. Nothing. Called front desk again half an hour later....had to have room changed. Pain in the butt."

"Hotel was comfortable and clean, staff were helpful. Hotel is in a great area with easy access to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Had an odd experience with the roof top bar where I was supposed to meet a colleague and they disabled elevator access almost an hour before closing (it was 9:10, closing was 10pm). He got them to let me in, but they seemed very eager to get us out of there by / before 10pm. There were only 3 other people at the bar."

"We had a good stay! I think breakfast should be complimentary. But I left my (newly bought) pillows there and when I called them, they had them sent to me at home after i sent them a shipping label, and i got them the next day!"
