"Great property right next to Cavern club, bars with live singers and6 if you are interested sports on tv in most bars. Check in easy and staff great. Breakfast however was chaos, not enough staff, poor Chef trying to get enough food out for fully booked hotel, and trying to cook special requests. Few staff and no enthusiasm to clear tables. When they finally did, a huge trolley came in and they were stacking dirty plates on there. Not the look for a 4 star hotel. We would have been mad if we had...

"Dirty walls, couldn't check in on time, broken handles in room. Photos are nothing like what is on Expedia. Walls had dirty wipe marks all over them. I felt my skin crawl just sitting on the bed. I booked somewhere else straight away. Horrible place!"
