Although my stay was briefly disrupted by the arrival of a large and noisy family carrying their belongings in black bin bags using a shopping trolley , who appeared to have been placed in the hotel by the council, everything else about the hotel was good.

Stayed here for a party night at haydock park. Clean, basic room. Enjoyed the pool the next morning and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. Free parking was a bonus too. I’d definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel because it’s pet-friendly, as we were traveling with our dog, and it delivered exactly what we needed—clean, convenient, and comfortable. The restaurant was unprepared for the number of people staying at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well presented. The pool is tiny and shallow and used by healthclub members as well barely leaving room for the children to play.

The room was clean, nice bed and helpful friendly staff. Hotel could do with updating and some TLC as the windows are in poor condition so room was cold, heating didn’t work so was given a small blower heater
