The facilities of the hotel are great, everything you would realistically want in a hotel, great rooms and very convenient location, being located in the city centre. The staff are very kind and considerate, in one instance on short notice, they managed to secure us a high quality room. Very kind people. The lack of air conditioning in most rooms is offset by the usage of fans provided by the Hotel, as well as being able to open the windows. So I wouldn't say that's an issue for me, but it might be for some. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a place that is both easily accessible from the city centre, as well as a place with good staff and service. "

"Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff gave a thorough run down of services end check in was quick and easy. Rooms were really nice with big beds and well appointed bathrooms as well as other little touches like a rocking chair! We also had breakfast with a good selection and cocktails 2 for 1"

"Lovely one night stay. Room was excellent. Enjoyed the piano man entertainment immensely in the Merlin bar. Nice relaxed space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Needed more bar staff however, to prevent queues. Would get your dining reservations in early if planning to have evening meal, but casual dining in Merlin bar was good. "
