I cannot thank Sarah and Shivani enough. They made us feel so special they definitely went above and beyond. The room was spotless all the staff so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. My room overlooking the castle was most excellent!

It was a beautiful stay here. The only downfall was, there was a party directly downstairs from our room. I completely understand this will happen especially towards Christmas, it just would have been nice to be warned or potentially move rooms. We didn’t get any sleep that night, the music was blasting. Other than that, it’s a beautiful place

The hotel have closed their car park but did not inform us , the nearby NCP car park cost us an extra £32 which we had not allowed for in our finances. Had we have been told beforehand we would have been prepared for the walk up the high street from the car park with our luggage.!!

Stayed here a few times, ideal location close to shops, restaurants, pubs, not too far from railway station, etc. Hardly any outside noise could be heard. Our room was facing the castle on a main road had no issues. The hotel is old and could do with a freshen up but everything was clean and staff were exceptional

Hotel lobby was beautiful however our room was lacking. Very tired indeed really could do with a makeover. Half the lights in the room didn't work and the toilet didn't flush very well. Couldn't shut the outside window was stuck open
