Location is very convenient and free parking very nice to have for this area. Room was nice enough, but not the most comfortable seating area or bed. Bed was very firm which isn’t my preference. Would still stay here again though as overall it’s a good option for the area.
I've stayed here before and chose to return, I was disappointed this time, with both check in service and bar staff. But the hotel position and rooms were great.
The room lighting was extremely dim making reading in bed a strain. Higher wattage bulbs please and possibly of a higher degree Kelvin i.e more towards the daylight spectrum. The ambience was rather depressing.
I havs stayed in a number of places for work in Cardiff and found this hotel is by far the most convenient for parking and for accessing places to eat . It is easily walkable into the city centre, which takes about 20 mins. Facilities are excellent and food is of good quality.
Stayed here through working in the area. Hotel is in a good location with plenty of parking spaces. There are a few places near to go and eat and drink, 5 min walk from front of Cardiff bay where there are plenty of restaurants pubs and bars etc. rooms are ok and staff are very friendly and helpful but every time we stay there’s always issues getting in to the rooms with the swipe card on the doors, it’s an on going issue and seems the hotel needs to sort their door locking and access system out. At times even the staff can’t get in to the rooms, must be frustrating for them as they’re trying to help guests but can’t. Future inns need to spend some money and get their system updated and reliable. Thank you to the reception staff for trying to help me out on numerous occasions, can’t praise them enough.
