"Having an apartment overlooking a canal in Venice says it all but we feel we should add a few more positives. The neighborhood is Venetian and real, only a hop, skip, or jump from the popular tourist areas. The apartment has lots of windows as it’s a corner unit. We rarely use the heat, but it was a nice, efficient option as we were there during a very rainy time. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of amenities. "Staff very helpful in this smallish hotel which is quite tucked away. However once you have got used to the area, we found it to be in a good position for restaurants and other amenities. Nice clean comfortable rooms & decent breakfast."
