"The hotel building was created in the 1500s for a doge of Venice. Stunning, historic location. I bet the ceilings in our rooms were 22 feet tall! I adored the large public rooms with old oil paintings. It was lovely to eat breakfast in the courtyard garden. Staff were very helpful including making dinner suggestions at two different restaurants. They also booked us a water taxi to take us back to the airport at the end of our trip.
