The hotel hosted the Vancouver Model UN event. There were 1500 teenagers yelling, roaming the halls, banging doors, running from room to room. It was impossible to get an elevator, had to wait 15 minutes to get the elevator down, stressing to catch my flight. The hotel itself is great but it’s hosting events that are very disruptive to other guests. If the hotel cannot accomodate and control this many teenagers it should close off bookings for other guests. This unfortunate situation made my stay less than enjoyable and I will stay at another hotel next time.

This property is at a wonderful location. Robson is walkable and right next to Burrard station. Capilona suspension bridge shuttle stops here until 4 PM or so (please check Capilona bridge website for accuracy). Nice restaurants in walkable distance (assume upto 15 minutes). Canada place is walkable. Staff were polite and nice. Room was clean. Stayed only for a night and don’t have anything else to say apart from Starbucks in the lobby.
