"Decent place overall - clean rooms, nice modern shower room, user-adjustable heating (not usually found in cheaper hotels) and a nice big tv! The only let down is the one working lift; the lift seems to stop at various floors in random order regardless of who has pressed the button and when. There was a point where the lift had stopped at every other floor 12 or 13 times before it reached ground floor and it shakes so much that it’s really quite unpleasant. "The best thing about this hotel is the location in that you are literally across the road from the BP Arena if that is your purpose for visiting! The parking was easy (we used the multi storey which is only £10 for 24hours if you validate your ticket at hotel reception) It is located within the shopping centre but rooms are up high so no noise or disturbance. Everywhere is very clean and rooms are big and have everything you need (although everywhere looks a bit dated it’s not really a problem...

"Great hotel in central Birmingham that is right near the train station and bullring shopping centre. Staff are friendly and polite, room service ladies did a great job, building looks nice on the outside and inside. Views are great from the window even with all the construction going on it was nice in the evening seeing the crane lights and buildings lit up. The air conditioning doesn’t seem to be functioning but my room was provided with an extremely decent portable heater that quickly heated...
