"Great staycation with the hubby for Valentine’s Day! We checked in a little early. Our room had an ocean view, bathrobes, and all the necessities. The Spanish room decor was very classy with some heavy carved furniture and massive headboard. They don’t have central heating/AC but they provide a portable heater which was stored in the closet. The bathroom seemed like it was recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge where I kept the chocolate dipped strawberry desserts I bought downtown, next to the IG famous gelato shop . Everything is walking distance from there, which was great! The hubs and I went for an evening stroll, took sunset photos on the beach and walked around downtown. My favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar. I just wish it was open for brunch as well. The sunset view was stunning! The food was served tapas style: fish tacos and calamari were delish, and the drinks were top notch! Got the strawberry mojitos which they made specially for me. I’m sure it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s nice to be accommodated. Service was fast and very friendly. Definitely not snobs like many of the businesses out there. The CSRs and even the guests gave me a chill Huntington Beach vibe. We didn’t go down to eat at the cafe, as it seemed empty and the ambiance on the rooftop was very pleasant. Would definitely come back again! "

"I have been going here for several years. I think it is new owners. They have been cleaning up the place and it is much nicer. Easy walk around the harbor looking at boats I wish I owned. There is a express to Catalina Island and whale watching excursions. "

"Lovely boutique hotel with San Clemente Spanish seaside charm. Free breakfast with lots of options - waffles w lots of toppings, egg & ham sandwiches,yogurts, fruit, cereals, oatmeals; well equipped gym & nice pool. Super friendly & helpful staff. Completely safe w grounds security. 2 blocks walk to the beach & bicycle/ ebike rentals,walking & bike paths & trails, lots of things to do nearby including the Pier, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, shopping & dining options abound, very friendly community! Ideal spot to base for everything San Clemente & surrounding areas!"

"What isn’t there to love from this property? It’s located in a beautiful location with a view of Dana point beach and if the ocean water isn’t your thing, you can always relax in their pool after getting a work out in their 24/7 fitness center. Amazing staff who greet you once you enter and wave bye to you once you step out their property. The food options and bar service is amazing as well. Definitely will return to enjoy another conversation at their rooftop where you can remain cozy by the fire pit. Thank you Hilton hotel for an amazing experience. "
