"Overall this property was very nice. Location was good with a few subway stations within close walking distance. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that you HAVE to reserve a pool lounger at a minimum to use the pool starting at $100. Nowhere in the listing does it state this “new” policy. Front desk stated it’s aimed at keeping out unwanted/unregistered guests. But it did keep my family out as we weren’t paying a hundred bucks to play in a pool for maybe an hour. "

"Stayed there a full week. I could not have picked a better place to stay. You are within walking distance to all the entertainment venues and sightseeing attractions. The hotel staff is so wonderful and I can't say enough about them. My flight arrived at 7am and they worked me into a room so that I can rest with the option of moving the next day to a different room. Who offers that??? THEY DID! "We did have a great stay. Only area for improvement might be to include a luggage rack in the room for a place to pop a carry on. Otherwise staff was so kind and attentive. The environment was lovely and I can’t find any faults! A really pretty and unique hotel. "

"The location was great. We were upgraded to the PH which I appreciated because it was a bit larger than the standard room. Older hotels in NYC are small. None of the ice machines on the floors worked. bar prices were very high but we got a coupon for a free drink in the library only which was great."

"5 star experience. Very clean hotel. Bed/ linens were comfortable and high end. Everything was controlled via iPad, super easy and efficient. Drinks/ snacks were free in the mini bar. Loved it here and had a great experience. "
