"The Manhattan is in a prime location. Super close to the subway and an easy walk to Central Park, Hells Kitchen as well as Times Square. We stayed in a renovated room, which was clean and comfortable. It wasnt luxury, but we werent in the room all that much. The biggest drawback was, there was NO air conditioning. I was told it was turned off. I tried to open the windows, but that provided little relief. Even at summer camp, I had a fan! That being said, the staff were kind and lovely. "

"Gorgeous hotel! Staff was not very friendly or helpful, but we didn't need much support from them anyhow. The view from the room was incredible and we didn't want to leave it! The area around the hotel was dead/quiet but I'd bet it's more bustling during the rest of the year (we were here around the holidays). Not many late night eating/drinking options close by. "

Really appreciated the late checkout option (3:00pm) for later flights. A block to Grand Central station to get you anywhere via subway and walking distance (1-2 miles) from many sites. Felt safe walking the area at night and had plenty of food options nearby. Will definitely stay here again! "

Wasn't able to get our three rooms near each other despite requesting in advance, but I'm sure it's not as easy to map out as you might think- not a big deal. Responsive when needed assistance. Only critique would be the shower - surprised to see curtains and a tub versus glass enclosures modern day. Room was spacious."

Other locations were walkable from here as well like the Summit, Grand Central Station, Central Park, The Rockefeller Center. We were there for 4 days.
