"Wonderful location to stay before a flight. Purchased long term parking as well, so we didn’t have use the O’Hare long term parking. Suite was pristine and elegantly appointed. "

"Clean, comfortable, trendy and out of the box. Fantastic workers, friendly hotel guests and the coolest design of any hotel I’ve ever seen. I’m a huge fan of this property and the citizenM brand. So unique. I love how they include an iPad in the room with curtains that close themselves. Also the light control panel is beyond me. Pick any view (high floor low floor, west east south north) all available at the same price, you get to choose it at check-in. No hotel security deposit authorized at check-in. Another plus for me!"

"I was a bit nervous after looking at the reviews, however, the rooms didn't smell, the shower was clean, and no stains on the sheets. The front desk people were very helpful during check in. My only complaints are that there were no free waterbottles in the room (not expected though) and I couldn't figure out how to get my phone to play on the tv. "

"Lovely stay at the Royal Sonesta downtown. The location was very nice. We enjoyed being close to the river and having access to the shopping and eateries. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t as good. We were on the 29th floor so While you could hear the train and some traffic noise it was muffled. The elevators were fast and the wait for them was short, although they were small so only a few people if everyone had a suitcase with them. The fitness center was nice with two Peloton bikes but one was broken. There’s a water station in the gym as well so we used it to fill our water bottles during the stay, which was nice. The views from the hotel were great. Only caveat is that the Trump tower is across the way and the lights from the sign were bright- thank goodness for the blackout curtains! The front desk staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We were able to check in early which was really nice. Overall a lovely stay. "
