All places of interest, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, post-office, airport bus and railway station within walking distance. "I have stayed here every year for 8 years now and totally love the hotel. The hotel is spotless clean, the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the disabled parking bays are not monitored, I have trouble walking but had to park the other side of the carpark because an ignorant person parked in disabled bay then took out his golf clubs leaving the car in the disabled parking bays for 2 days without mooving it with no disabled badge."

"The Place was a comfortable stay for my husband and I. As other reviews mentioned, there are no lifts in this hotel, so pack lightly! Our room was large and comfortable. If this is your first time, keep your keycard in the slot by the door to "power" the room. Every plug has a switch, including the TV. The Place is close to a lot of great eats and shopping, but we chose this specifically because it was close to the Edinburgh Bus Station to catch our 7:45am 1-day bus trip with Rabbie's Tours....
