"Great room (1006). Saved £250 😀 by swapping the booking from November to mid-January. Quirky set of corridors, lifts and stairs to reach to the room. Set inside the roof with small rooftop windows. Very quiet and comfortable. We had breakfast included. Clean, quiet and plenty of choice. Felt that the full English had sat on a hot plate for ages and the only fresh item was the poached egg. "Good staff, if approached with a problem they did there best to fix it. However the hospitality team that delt woth the rooms (fresh towels, toilet roll etc.) Where very slow, last time we requested fresh towels in the morning to get a shower we didnt get them till a few hours later. The food was expensive, however very tasty and worth the price. Overall though they were good and would stay here agian."

"We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. "The location of the hotel was perfect for us, close to the train station and next door to the theatre. The hotel was very nice , clean and tastefully decorated, staff were all very friendly, attentive helpful, breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The beds however were extremely uncomfortable, there was mattress toppers on them which were uneven and lumpy."
