"Breakfast tray was not collected 2 days in a row. Tray sat outside my room after 7.00pm even after advising front desk twice. Apart from the breakfast situation everything was lovely "

"We had an unusually large room and our dogs were allowed to stay with us, which was great, as other hotels in the area couldn't accommodate them. The breakfast was generous with lots of options. The swimming pool area is perfect. What made our stay particularly enjoyable, though, were the helpful and friendly employees. They were all fantastic!"

"A beautiful hotel. The staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Room was perfect, clean, spacious, complimentary drinks and snacks. Reception smelt lovely when you entered 😄 only 10 mins walk into the centre of historic Chester. Would definitely stay here again 👍"

"Lovely staff and restaurant. Food and service in the restaurant was fabulous. The leisure area was lovely although half the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The walkways at night from the spa area need to be lit up as it was quite dangerous. Room was comfortable. Some shared areas look like they need refurbishment. "

"Lovely stay. The building is a little dated in parts. The service was a little lacking at times, it felt like a lot of the staff members were new and inexperienced. We had breakfast and a bar snack and all the food was excellent. "

"We loved the location and the rooms,we had a room overlooking the River Dee. The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking. Just unfortunate the restaurant was closed (we did know about this) Overall we would stay again."

"Great apartment. Huge beds. Great decor and extremely comfortable. Was a shopping trip with mum and perfect having our own rooms. Near to shops and has a parking spot. "
