"Our stay at The Journal Kuala Lumpur was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly courteous and always eager to assist, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, functional, and equipped with all the necessary amenities expected from a hotel of this standard. The hotel’s location is another standout feature—it’s centrally located and just a short walk from a fantastic shopping mall, making it perfect for both leisure and convenience. The neighborhood also offers plenty of dining options, giving guests the chance to explore local and international cuisine with ease. Breakfast at the hotel was varied and satisfying, offering a decent range of options to start the day right. Considering the excellent location, the quality of service, and the amenities provided, we found it to be fantastic value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!"

"Clean, good plumbing and water pressure. The kitchen with utensils, a hot water kettle, a toaster, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, and a fridge was excellent! Very nice! Will be staying at this property again in the future."

"We stayed 8 nights in a 2 Bedroom Premium Suite which was serviced daily by housekeeper Hussin. He was very good, very attentive, checking if everything was ok I was extremely pleased with his service and happy personality. Our room included 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one kitchen and one lounge room. I especially liked the washer/dryer in the suite for my long stay. All rooms had a city view. The best is the bathroom city view. Two televisions -nice. Full kitchen, utensils, crockery with microwave and hotplate. We tried the buffet breakfast RM45 per person. Good selection of all foods, something for everyone. I took a swim in the pool -so nice. Open 7am-9pm daily. Location is a few minutes walk to main tourist shopping -Pavillion, Lot 10, Sungei Wang Plaza, Times Square, Lala Port and TRX Exchange. I would definitely book this hotel again. "

"Ideal location. Great for woman traveling solo. Close by lots of malls to shop. Also close to get facial, massage (foot and body)….Some malls offer other activities (miniatures display…)to do besides shopping…close by choice of food amazing, delicious and safe (for ex- Jalan Alor Food street). Kuala Lumpur felt safe. Hop on hop off near by"
