Our stay at The Journal Kuala Lumpur was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly courteous and always eager to assist, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, functional, and equipped with all the necessary amenities expected from a hotel of this standard. The hotel’s location is another standout feature—it’s centrally located and just a short walk from a fantastic shopping mall, making it perfect for both leisure and convenience. The neighborhood also offers plenty of dining options, giving guests the chance to explore local and international cuisine with ease. Breakfast at the hotel was varied and satisfying, offering a decent range of options to start the day right. Considering the excellent location, the quality of service, and the amenities provided, we found it to be fantastic value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a delightful afternoon tea, which immediately set the tone for our wonderful stay. Farid went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our stay was perfect. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality truly stood out and made a lasting impression. What made our experience even more special were the thoughtful touches provided by the hotel. Each night, we were treated to complimentary desserts like green bean soup and ginger soup, which made us feel truly at home after a long day of shopping. My stay here was perfect. I got a king room which was immaculately clean. The rain fall shower head in the ceiling was luxurious and the towels were fluffy. If I had to find a complaint it would be the drinks in the minibar are all low or no sugar. Catching a cab is easy out front, there is plenty of food and shopping within walking distance as well. 10/10 would recommend coming here. If I find myself in KL again I already know where I am staying.

The hotel was in a good location, within walking distance to nightlife, street food market, shops, restaurants etc. Not the best pickup location for Grab/Taxi though. Room was large, clean, good aircon, coffee pod machine, complimentary mini bar, housekeeping brilliant! lift was slow, hallways smelt of musty cigarettes, breakfast & afternoon tea was really lovely and the waitstaff amazing! Great shower, large comfortable bed, lucky to have quiet back room with partial views of Petronas & KL Tower!
