"Booked this room for the private onsen and it was quite a lovely experience. We brought our luggage to them early in the morning and asked them to hold it until our check in so we could explore and after we checked in and made it to our room they sent someone to bring the luggage up. "Great location, convenient to train station (about a 3 minute walk). My room overlooked the train tracks - I had initial concerns about noise, but my view of the shinkansen whizzing past every few minutes was incredible. I did wear earplugs at night to block out the sound of freight trains going past. Breakfast was a simple ochazuke and tea. I would stay here again if visiting Atami or needed to stay near the train station."
