"This place is an absolute delight! The service is A , the food is amazing (the breakfast is fresh, the chocolate croissant, I can keep going)…..All of it!!! The rooms are spotless with the sweetest decor. Every detail is spot on. I highly recommend staying in this boutique hotel. I’ve not experienced anything quite like it. And did I mention the service? Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Come for the service and food but also make sure you take in the stunning views."

"Truly one of the best stays I had in my travels. I was welcomed with so much love and left very sad that I had to leave my new friends here in this hotel. Some key points what made my stay awesome, the daily breakfast from the “welcome breakfast” to the “box-lunch” breakfast as if I had a tour at 6am they made sure I left with a very well prep breakfast. The kitchen staff beyond awesome and delicious meals. The front desk made sure I had all the information I needed and booked 3 amazing tours...

"This boutique hotel is on the outer rim of the old town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the the bathroom was the same. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. My breakfast was included and was delicious combination of fresh fruit, breads and made to order eggs. Had dinner and this also was delicious. The Old Town is very hilly, with cobblestones - so best to wear sturdy shoes on walks. My ch to see around town - 2 days was a good amount of time to...

"The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"

"The hotel is well located in the old city. Despite a language barrier at times the staff were helpful and responsive. I ordered a taxi from the airport with the hotel but it did not come, not that it was a problem as plenty of taxis were available. The breakfast was very good. Room 9 has a window above the door and light streamed in whenever the sensor lights outside came on. This impacted on sleep quality. On balance we would stay there again."
