"Staff were lovely but the hotel itself had odd flaws. Was lift works and drilling going on and weren’t made aware at the time and the rooms really warm but they said they couldn’t do anything about that, they did give us a fan though to try help so staff did all they could to it what they had "

"Don’t know why it gets bad reviews, the location is perfect on the corner of the rue Augusta 2min from metro and 2min from famous elevator and famous arch and square. Rooms where clean and comfortable, only downside is soundproofing 1 night we had noisy neighbours but that’s not the hotels fault, lifts tiny but greatful as wooden steps are oldy worldly ok to come down but lift was great to go up in fit me and my little boy in but took a long time to go up! "The hostel was nice and clean. It is close to Rossio square and walking distance to many attractions. Unfortunately the street outside the hostel is noisy with drinks and is a little sketchy. I felt safe as I was with my partner. I may have felt differently if I was traveling alone. "

"Excellent transport links, breakfast has excellent variety. Rooms have beautiful decor and excellent amenities, a safe, kettle and a fridge which I didnt expect. Lots of eateries (especially Indian/Nepalise, yum) and shops nearby. Only criticism is the area can be a bit sketchy especially the southern end of the street but it's v good value for money. "
