"My family of five had a great stay at the beautiful Toro Blanco! After our long day of traveling their pool was just what we needed. All of the rooms have nice patios that surround the pool and the lights at night make it look really cool. All of the staff was very helpful, we will be staying here again when in the area."

"Hotel Guanacaste is pretty accurate in what it advertises, it is a good budget hotel with nice staff and owners. We were even treated specially for being returning customers and that is something to value. There is a bar outside and music can be loud in certain rooms, so pack some earplugs if you are a light sleeper, but other than that we were really happy with the experience."

"Basic room, this is not our first stay here. The price is right for an overnight stay and only 7 min. drive to LIR. The shower plumbing issue is always an issue and the pillows need to be updated. The AC unit takes forever to cool the room. Thankfully, the barking dogs next door get locked up at sunset. "

"The property was a very typical Costa Rican Lodge. Beautiful location along a very nice river, off the beaten track away from loud city noise. The convenience of offering rafting, tubing, zip lining rappelling, spa service etc all in one place is very nice. It is reasonably priced for activities and the restaurant is very good. "I stay here when I'm in Tamarindo. Hotel is directly across the street from the beach in the center of Tamarindo. You can walk everywhere so a car is not needed but they have a private parking lot if you have a car. "
