"We arrived in Liberia, rented a car and found there's no street signs with names. We reached the owner by phone and she gave us directions in good English. Parking was sketchy. The room was reallly clean and quaint upstairs from the main house. There's a little corner take out restaurant that has wonderful service and great food. Owner's grandson went and got us a 6 pack of Costa Rican cerveza. Wonderful family with sincere welcoming "

"Cheap and very mediocre. Front desk person was nice. The room was... quaint, to put it nicely. Very stuffy so I spent as little time in it as possible. 2 beds, 1 fan, 1 tv whose reception was so bad I couldn’t watch anything. WiFi at least was fast. Separate bathroom was not very clean. Cute little courtyard but needs some hammocks asap! Overall would not recommend. "

"Aesthetically pleasing in ALL ways! Check-in was the easiest, and the room felt very welcoming. Everything went smooth with helping us feel accommodated. Perfect place for a great nights sleep. Beach was close enough to the location for a walk to. Ample amounts of restaurants near by to choose from. The staff was beyond friendly and easy to understand on either side of our language barriers. The restaurant on site is amazing! Having this on-site was a mega PLUS! Their chef is a true boss and...

"Hotels.com has the location marked wrong on the map. It is NOT anywhere close to the beach. Luckily I was able to hitch a ride into Tamarindo and get a rental car for the duration of my stay. I probably would not have considered this place if it was marked correctly on the map, but I'im glad I stayed here. That being said, everything else about this place is great! Nice modern kitchen and outdoor grill. Everything was newly renovated and very clean. AC was nice and cold. My only gripe was that...
