Yudanaka Seifuso

3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (185)
"This place was a very cute, homely, with a family owned ryokan vibe. We had a nice spacious room, the biggest we had in our whole trip to Japan, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The futons were so comfortable compared to other futons we slept on at other ‘trendy’ ryokans. The onsen was very nice and relaxing, they offered both private and public onsen and amenities. The styling is old fashioned but this added to the charm of the place for me and I would definitely stay here...

Shimaya

2.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (208)
"The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Absolutely made our stay feel like we were guests in their own home. The building is older and a bit worn but this adds to the experience of staying at a traditional guest house. It feels like it has a very rich history of welcoming guests. The house was spotless and immaculately kept. Our hosts generously offered to drive us to the monkey park gate nearby The monkey park experience was like no other! An absolute highlight of our family’s trip to...
