"The condo was large and well equipped. Very clean and the owners were lovely and helpful. The neighbour hood was good, 8 min walk to the beach, 5 min to the grocery store."

"The condo was beautiful! Surroundings lush. Quiet and neat and clean. Also safe and secure. The beds were too hard for me. Water in shower sometimes cold. The water made my hair gummy. Don’t forget to take conditioner!"

"The management went into some sort of receivership while we were there, they cut off the Internet, saying it was down but really it was because of what was happening with the financial side. They made us wait for 3 hours to check in past check in time as they had not checked their emails for our booking. "We stayed at Corto Maltes for a week, starting 7/8/13, room 204. The place has "good bones" but needs some upkeep to be really top-notch. A new coat of paint would be a start. This is a condo that is rented out by the owners and managed by the staff at El Faro - those folks were pleasant but did not solve some of the issues that needed attention.
