"Having its own little bay was really cool. That being said its a fairly large property and I believe it was sold out while we there. So as a result, the service times were really long at times. In addition, we tried to book a couple of the restaurants and were told they were full but when we walked by they were half empty. "I couldn't have chosen a better place for my milestone birthday and first solo trip. "We had an amazing time, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The on-site restaurants were fantastic, and the property's proximity to other incredible resorts like Banyan Tree and Fairmont was a huge plus. "It was awesome"

"The staff and facilities were fantastic. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach was wonderful with easy access to the water. Waves and water temperature were perfect. Unfortunately the "mini" bar in the room was only stocked with 2 beer- no other alcohol was supplied in the room. It was difficult to get a lounge chair at the beach unless you went down at 7:30 am to settle in for the day. Leaving your things on the lounges to reserve for later in the day was frowned upon."

"Smaller resort than what we're used but we liked it very much. It is located in a closed off area of Playa del Carmen making it less accessible and safer. They offered an all day long Kids Club which was a big plus for both parents and kids who had various fun and entertaining activities. Recommended. "

"We stayed 4 days when we stay in Cozumel. This property is not close for all the activities, probably you need the car. Also the property is neat but it is old. If you are looking on just stay and spend much time outside it is fine."

"We stayed a week at Hotel Cozmeleno and enjoyed every minute of it. There was always something to do if we wanted to or we could just hang out and relax. We had the premium sky top room and enjoyed the extra perks that came with it. The food choices were excellent and always available. My favorite thing was the staff who were always friendly and attentive and so many even remembered our names. Victor was our favorite! We will come back again!"

"An amazing property. Our second time here. Family owned and run. Food is authentic…home cooking essentially. We had a cabin which was a nice change from the “big resort” scene. Lady in the buffet line said it was her tenth time here…which I totally understand. "

"It was a beautiful resort, a little large, but transportation with the use of shuttles was good. Only issue was some things were a bit expensive, $6.00 CAD for a can of pop for example is a bit much imo. "

"Absolutely recommend to stay here! Carlos is an amazing host! This property is located inside a gated private property so it’s super safe. It was a little difficult to find but our host Carlos went out of his way to go find us. The location is next to Xenses and Xcaret parks truly a hidden Gem! "Beautiful property, great food, very clean and staff very helpful. Make sure you book dinner reservations well in advance. Kayaks need reservations too. It was week worth the extra fee to have park access with shuttles at no addt fee. I feel like i stayed at a great resort and did not have the hassle if third party tour guides to the park. I could comr and go as i pleased. Also, the hardest part was deciding to go to parks or stay in resort, both were beautiful, clean and fun. "
