"If you’re familiar with the McMenamins properties, then you will enjoy staying at this wonderful place. From catching a movie to sitting by a fire place, to soaking in the beautifully heated pool, it was the perfect place to do an over night couples trip. My only recommendation is if you want to sleep in then I suggest you request a room that is not facing the heated pool but if you are an early riser, then being close to the heated, pool is just a perfect place to be."

"Nice place to stay"

"We had a very enjoyable stay here. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and small living room and kitchen. It was just the right size for our family of 5. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, hotel employees were kind and friendly. It's located in a commercial / industrial area, so the view is not nice, but other than that (and some issues with wi-fi streaming in the evenings), it was perfect for us. "

"This place is clean, quiet and wonderful. The Onsen style baths are incredibly relaxing. The sake bar rules. The staff is beyond nice and accommodating. It's my favorite hotel in the Portland area for sure. My only complaint is their antiquated ice machine. Otherwise, this is an excellent place to stay."

"Nice place"

"This was a great hotel. Staffs were excellent. The night we checked in, Peter? (Colorful shirt with nice tie) greeted us with smile and lots of friendliness. And once we were in the room and talking to our friend across the hall, Peter? Is walking around the floors checking to make sure things were good and I have never seen that in any hotels I stayed and I appreciated that so much! Breakfast was great! They had potato, gravy, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancake, lots more stuff and for the first time I saw rice, soy sauce packets and sealed half avocado at the breakfast!! It was awesome!! Second night, we came back late from volleyball game and we were getting ready to sleep and we heard this really loud machine or fan sound from next door and there was no way I could sleep through that so front lady gave us a key for another room for us to sleep in while keeping our stuff in our original room so we didn’t have to switching rooms at 12am! I loved they had all the Dove products in their bathrooms! Location is great. Very quiet! And felt safe! Parking is well lit especially the back parking lot!! Rooms were clean and no smells. Comfy beds. Older building but it is well kept. If this hotel had a pool and hot tub, it is a perfect hotel! But enjoyed staying here very much even without pool! Thank you for excellent service! "
