"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"The location was awesome. Just across from the city market and walkable to many historical sites. We especially enjoyed the wine and cheese social time each day. "The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. When I walked in the door at check in the tone was set. I was greeted with a smile and the staff took the extra time to walk from behind the counter and actually show me around. This type of friendliness and human interaction is dying in the world we live in today so I don't give compliments like this often. Loved the place's history and the room was huge, but it was the staff that made if perfect. "
