"We liked the rural location for the quiet, but it was only a few mins from the M42 so convenient for driving around Midlands. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Half Board Dining was very nice for breakfast and evening meal, with a good food selection. We didn't like the stairway to rooms 20-25 as this was quite steep and the stairs narrow; not good if you have mobility issues or if you have large suitcases. "We had an absolutely fabulous time at this hotel, super value for the money, the staff were really nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to watch Aston Villa. A taxi ride is 15 mins from the hotel to the stadium and cost £25."

"Overall it was an enjoyable experience. however the view from the room window itself was terrible bins and rundown back of building. The sink and some tiles on floor were both cracked. It had clean bed. and I liked separate sleeping room for daughter. the restaurant was timeless classic. It had beautiful bar area and nice pool. grounds were fantastic. "
