The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. I can’t believe in a hotel chain like Village that they do not have USB ports on their plug sockets in the room. I have stayed in some 2* hotels and they have them.

Staff were awful - unhelpful and at time rude, no customer service at all. Check in staff were very dismissive, told us the lift wasn’t working but no apology. Ordered us to use the self service check in despite 2 members of staff just standing there at the computers chatting. Bar staff more interested in talking amongst themselves or looking at their phones. Food was overpriced, difficult to find a table to sit at as do many dirty places left. We won’t be back!

The parking was very good and convenient- the room was not cleaned properly with dirty cups left and bed Not made properly and linen questionable- I requested clean cups but they did not deliver them to the room - mould in shower area and carpet unclean

Star Employee Made My Stay
I've stayed here before and it's always been decent. After a very long drive, the guy at reception (with the blacked out sleeve tattoo) made for a fantastic stay. Lovely chat when I arrived, and sorted me out with a pint immediately. Cannot fault his customer service.
