"Room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. All equipment worked. Criticism is that there was no air-conditioning - in the summer the entire hotel is air-conditioned however outside of that time it is heated. The hotel did provide a wooden block to hold the window open and, upon request, a fan but the room was still very warm (at the start of our week it was over 60° outside so the hotel was roasting). That grump side, we enjoyed it stay."

"Great place, great location, amazing lake view. Parking is way too expensive and there is no coffee maker in the room (which is a boomer for me). Besides that the rooms are roomy and very comfortable. "

"Some good views. It's the best location at a good price. The German Embassy is a block away, and I walked down East Michigan to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the beach, restaurants, bars and plenty of high-end shopping. Parking is from $28-70, so shop around. Sadly, the roof pool is seasonal."

"It’s in the prime location and it is safe! Walkable to great restaurants, to Chicago Riverwalk, to the Millenium Park and to the Michigan Avenue’s Shopping. This hotel is also clean, the breakfast buffet is great and the stuff’s are nice!!!"
